The View Tap and Grill, located at Juniper Golf Course, is seeking a Front of the House/Events Manager.
A key team member, the ideal candidate:
Thrives in a hospitality environment, drives a positive culture and is highly focused on providing superior service to all guests
Assists with interviewing, hiring, training, planning assigning and directing work, evaluating performance
Assists in the management of department members that may include, but is not limited to: Servers, Bartenders, Banquets
Assist with budget preparation in all Food and Beverage related areas
Relays pertinent information to key staff including, Executive Chef and or Sous Chef, Event/Banquet Staff as needed
Attends and/or conducts regular meetings with colleagues, subordinates, and related parties
Assists General Manager in monitoring success of Food and Beverage related departments and team members, including annual performance reviews, as needed
Assures that effective training and full onboarding is given to each new team member
Assists in developing ongoing training programs
Responsible for ultimate inventory control for all Food and Beverage related areas
Assists in planning major events involving, often featuring Food and Beverage throughout the calendar year
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year college or university; or four to six years related experience and/or training: or equivalent combination of education and experience
Knowledge of a hospitality POS system application, and menu programing
Experience in multi-faceted Food and Beverage operations
Serve Safe certification desired. Oregon food handling card and OLCC certification required
Ability to pass a drug test and a background check.
