Chef Position – Head Chef
Location: Bend
Compensation: $59,000 per year

Experience Level: At least 2 years of kitchen management
Job Description:
We are looking for a calm-headed and passionate head chef to take over our kitchen. Tourist season is coming up quick and we need an individual with at least two years of experience managing a busy pub or similar high-volume restaurant. We usually have a BOH team of around 6 people in the summer, so the right candidate is a strong leader who can hire, train, and retain a good team. Administrative duties include ordering, inventory, sales tracking, and labor cost management. We are not attached to our current menu so creating a new workable menu will be encouraged. This is a hands-on manager position, so we need someone strong on the line that can cook better than anyone on their team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain a strong and organized team
- Keep food clean, healthy, and safe.
- Develop and implement new menu items.
- Work collaboratively with the FOH to ensure great service and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years of management experience
- Ability to keep a team going in a fast-paced kitchen.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
