The Party Team is hiring! We are an entertainment company specializing in funny money Casino Parties, Poker Tournaments, DJ’s and Photo Booths.
We are looking for fun, friendly people to join our team. We do not require any formal casino dealing experience - only that you know at least one casino game very well, specifically dealing/playing Texas Hold'em at a high level.
Our positions are very part-time gig-work. All of our gigs are in the evening (some time between 530pm and 1130pm usually), and most gigs are on Friday and Saturday nights. We typically have 2-5 events a month. Almost all gigs are at local event venues like The Riverhouse, SunRiver, Eagle Crest, and Tetherow.
Pay is $20 per hour plus tips which is typically another $10-$15/hr. There is higher pay for those people that can deal multiple games or want to be on our Event Captain team.
Dress code is black slacks/skirt, pressed long-sleeve white or black button-up dress shirt, and black dress shoes.
Our parties are a blast. We give each guest a stack of funny money, and our dealer team does an awesome job of showing them how to play and making sure everyone has a great time.
Applicants must know at least one of the following games well enough to teach someone else the rules and strategy of the game. For example, in Texas Hold’em poker you would know how to split pots. In blackjack you would know double-downs and splits.
It is preferable that you have your own dependable transportation and that you are diligent about checking email. We typically email schedules out 2-3 weeks prior to a gig.
