- .Net/C Developer to help with some legacy applications
- We are looking for a software developer to come in and help us to address outstanding issues with two legacy applications.
- One application is written in C and we will need to determine whether to update/fix the existing application or migrate it to .NET.
- The other application is a C# .NET and SQL Server application. It's not a large application but changes need to be made to address some issues and bring it up to a technically acceptable level for Resume.
- Knowledge of WCF will be needed.
- 3+ years of experience with C# .NET (not .NET Core). Candidate should have E2E experience with .NET, including WCF.
- 3+ years of experience with C, including debugging existing applications. It would be helpful if the candidate has experience with PC communication protocols as this application sends programming information from a PC to a truck ECU.
- SQL Server experience including writing stored procedures.
- Candidate needs to be a self-starter willing and able to jump in and be the primary person analyzing the existing apps and making recommendations and changes.
