Sun Country Engineering and Surveying is seeking qualified individuals for a Licensed Professional Land Surveyor or Land Surveyor in Training position to help with a wide range of projects from conception through to completion. Pay and benefit package commensurate with experience. Health insurance, bonus, 401K plan, flexible schedules.
Skills
Professional Land Surveyor License in Oregon State or obtain within 6 months to 1 year
Licensure as a professional surveyor in the state of Oregon preferred
Land use, survey, and project management knowledge is a plus
Proven working experience in land surveying
Excellent knowledge of Auto CAD, Civil 3D required
Project management and supervision skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Duties and Responsibilities
4 years of survey experience
Survey boundary analysis and computations of topography and utility surveys
Prepare and review CAD work, plats, ALTA/ACSM surveys, and final surveys
Perform quality control of all survey documents, including survey plans and record plats
Prepare surveying estimates
Floodplain Elevation Certificates
Knowledge of engineering design, land development, and construction practices
Knowledge of standard surveying methods and procedures
Leadership and strong communication skills
Experience with conventional, Trimble GPS and Robotics data collection equipment
