Stemach Design & Architecture is a design focused architecture firm with a strong emphasis in sustainability and community engagement. We have a diverse portfolio of projects large and small, as well as an interesting mix of upcoming projects. Our current work includes restaurants, medical office and industrial buildings and tenant improvements, medical, multi-family residential, vertical mixed use and urban design. Our work ranges from multiple building developments to fine interior and exterior custom detailing such as stairways, furniture and lighting.
We are seeking an entry to mid-level experienced person to assist with the design of new projects. Construction administration experience is also available.
Our office is centrally located in Bend in the historic Box Factory (one of our ongoing projects) and features secure indoor bike storage, adjustable standing desks in an healthy, collaborative work environment. We emphasize shared learning of new skills and an open forum for sharing ideas, input and critique. Staff has the ability to select their ideal work schedule, and remote working is a component of this flexibility.
Our compensation package includes holiday pay, personal time off, paid sick leave, medical insurance (including vision and dental), retirement savings plans with employer matching, and other annual perks. We also cover continuing education, licensing and certification costs.
Candidates must be self-motivated, demonstrate strong design skills, and possess proficient Revit and/or ArchiCAD experience. A Bachelors or Masters of Architecture is required.
