We are looking for a rock star employee to join our charter school team! High School Instructional Assistants work closely with our Subject Area Specialists to help support student learning by assisting them with managing distance learning courses, providing student feedback, teaching campus classes two days a week, and student tutoring.
The BCA High School Team is currently looking for a part-time High School Instructional Assistant with the following qualifications:
Strong background and/or interest in Writing and Social Studies
Experience working with students either through teaching or tutoring
Experience with or a readiness to learn digital tools such as Canvas
Desire to work with high school students with individual tutoring and in small classroom settings
Able to collaborate with a teacher to create lessons, provide student feedback, and support students in their learning
Weekly Schedule:
Monday 9:00 - 3:00
Tuesday 8:30 - 4:30
Wednesday 8:30 - 4:30
Thursday 8:30 - 1:30
Work Location: BCA campus - located in Bend, Oregon (In-Person/Remote Hybrid)
Position begins in August 2025.
