Construction Project Accountant

Central Oregon based General Contractor is accepting applications for a full time Project Accountant. Successful applicant must be a highly motivated and goal orientated individual with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Construction Project Management or have equivalent work history. The Project Accountant provides accounting support on multiple construction projects at a time. This position will follow the project(s) from pre-construction to project closeout and is responsible for the project’s overall work in process accounting, budget analysis, financial reporting, subcontractor payouts and related project cost tracking. The Project Accountant will work closely with Project Managers/Engineers, subcontractors, stakeholders, and the accounting team. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal are a must.
