Job Description:
Support in developing and leading strategic NGO and multi-stakeholder partnerships, including identifying areas for collaboration and setting overall partnership strategy, roadmap and KPIs.
Help establish and run project objectives, timelines, deliverables, processes and decision-making models for key team priorities.
Engage with internal and external partners to achieve Nike’s sustainability vision and priorities.
Lead and contribute to Nike’s engagement at Global Sustainability events, including developing activation concepts, leading partners and agencies, preparing briefing materials and handling logistics.
Plan and facilitate meetings and workshops with internal and external partners.
Stay abreast of sustainability trends, emerging issues relevant to the footwear, apparel and fashion industries, sustainability regulatory developments and key global moments.
Support Global Sustainability Engagement team with administrative priorities, including budget tracking and PO and invoice management.
Communicate plans and ideas across a complex matrix on a corporate, regional and functional basis, including presenting before audiences of various sizes and backgrounds.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, International Affairs, Sustainability, Communications, or related field, or combination of relevant education, experience and training.
Minimum 3-5 years of relevant professional experience.
Environmental and human rights subject matter expertise or experience.
Experience cultivating relationships and leading strategic partnerships.
Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills, including to senior leaders.
High level of interpersonal skills and ability to influence & work cross-functionally at all levels.
Experience with project management to deliver team results.
Self-starter comfortable working in ambiguous environments.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience managing relationships with multi-stakeholder initiatives and coalitions.
Experience working in a large, highly matrixed organization with high comfort managing complex and dynamic partner structures.
Entrepreneurial spirit with an ability to analyze problems, gather information, identify new opportunities, generate ideas, apply different perspectives and business needs, and propose a way forward.
Proficiency with Powerpoint, Keynote and AirTable
