Description We are offering an opportunity for an individual proficient in accounting functions to join our team in Beaverton, Oregon. The role will be centered around the duties of a Credit Clerk, playing a critical role in the financial control and stability of the company. This role involves processing customer credit applications, maintaining accurate customer credit records, and resolving customer credit inquiries. Responsibilities: Process customer credit applications with precision and efficiency Maintain and update customer credit records to ensure accuracy Resolve customer credit inquiries promptly and professionally Monitor customer credit accounts to detect any irregularities or issues Take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments from customers Collaborate with the accounting team to streamline credit operations Maintain confidentiality of all financial data Contribute to the improvement of credit processes and procedures Comply with all financial regulations and standards Report any inconsistencies or issues to the Accounting Manager/Supervisor.Requirements Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) preferred Minimum of five years of experience in a senior accounting or financial management role Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel Experience with managing accounting functions, including budgeting, financial reporting, and audit coordination Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and guide a team Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze financial data High degree of accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, for interacting with various internal and external stakeholders Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
