Bench Repair & Testing - Overhauling helicopter powertrain components, the Technician will disassemble, troubleshoot, repair, reassemble, test, and certify systems and related units for heavy-lift helicopters.

The Technician will clean and inspect drive & rotor components and parts for damage and wear using visual examination and special tooling and equipment.

They will replace or repair damaged or worn drive & rotor parts using general hand tools, special tools, pneumatic tools, and precision measuring equipment.

Additionally, they will reassemble, test, and document inspection findings and work performed/corrective action in maintenance records.

Required Experience / Skills

Disassembly and reassembly of helicopter powertrain components

Troubleshooting and repairing systems and related units

Reading and interpreting maintenance manuals

Using general hand tools, special tools, pneumatic tools, and precision measuring equipment

Testing and certifying systems and related units
