I’m looking for a smart, steady, kind-hearted personal assistant to help me manage my mom’s care while I’m in town. My mom is in the late stages of dementia, and I’m overseeing everything from medical appointments to housing transitions to day-to-day caregiving logistics. I also have a baby, so I need someone who can jump in where needed — helping with calls, paperwork, errands, scheduling, baby care, and light household support.
This role includes things like:
Calling providers, real estate offices, healthcare facilities
Helping manage paperwork for doctors, attorneys, and public agencies, courts
Coordinating caregiver schedules and interviews
Light meal prep or meal pickup for me and the baby
Holding or feeding the baby while I’m on the phone or otherwise busy
Grocery or supply runs
Keeping track of to-dos and helping me stay organized
You are:
Emotionally grounded and flexible
A natural problem-solver who can anticipate what’s needed
Warm and calm under pressure
Able to work independently but comfortable being in close support
This is a paid position. Schedule is somewhat fluid, but I’d love someone available for a few hours a day this coming week. It’s okay if you don’t have experience in all areas — attitude matters most.
Please send your resume, a brief note about your background and availability, and a few sentences about why this resonates.
