Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Aviation Bench Technician to join our maintenance and repair team. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in troubleshooting and repairing electronic aviation components down to the component level. You must have strong knowledge of electronic theory, experience with test equipment, and a proven ability to read and interpret electronic schematics.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair various aircraft electronic components to the component level.
Interpret and follow electronic schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
Perform functional testing and follow standard procedures to certify units for airworthiness.
Complete required documentation in accordance with FAA regulations and company policies.
Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant workbench and work area.
Support continuous improvement efforts in testing, diagnostics, and repair processes.
Minimum Qualifications:
5+ years of bench-level electronics repair experience.
Strong knowledge of electronics theory and circuit analysis.
Proficient in the use of test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, etc.).
Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics and technical documents.
Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred Experience (not required but a plus):
Prior experience working on FAA-regulated or aerospace electronic components.
Knowledge of airworthiness certification procedures.
IPC or FAA repair certifications.
