Job Description – CONTRACTED Truck Helper
Position Summary
The Truck Helper supports the truck driver in the delivery, loading, and unloading of goods, materials, or equipment. This role ensures Unloading is done accurate, safely, and on time.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with unloading items from the truck.
Ensure goods are properly secured to prevent damage during unloading
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the truck and equipment.
Verify delivery documents, invoices, or receipts with customers as required.
Handle products carefully, following safety standards and lifting procedures.
Assist in setting up or assembling delivered goods.
Communicate effectively with all team members
Follow all workplace safety rules and company policies.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous experience in delivery or warehouse work is a plus.
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull heavy objects (up to 100 lbs. this is a 6-man job you will not work alone).
Good physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Basic knowledge of safety practices and procedures.
Working Conditions
Work hours may include early mornings, evenings.
Exposure to outdoor environments and variable weather.
Requires frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
