Position Overview:
As a Delivery Specialist at Midwest Flooring Installation LLC, you will be an integral part of our delivery team responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of flooring materials to our valued customers. The ideal candidate will possess an Oklahoma Driver's License, maintain a clean driving record, and exhibit the physical capability to handle and transport 50 lb. flooring boxes.
Responsibilities:
Safely operate company vehicles to transport flooring orders from the store to customers' homes, following designated delivery schedules.
Load and unload 50 lb. flooring boxes with care, ensuring proper handling and delivery within customers' residences.
Utilize technology skills to access an internet-connected smart device (smartphone or tablet) to verify order pickups from the store and maintain an accurate delivery schedule to customers' home addresses.
Demonstrate excellent customer service skills by maintaining a professional and presentable demeanor during interactions with customers.
Successfully complete a background check as a prerequisite for employment.
Exhibit strong organizational skills, take initiative, and work independently to ensure efficient delivery processes.
Resolve delivery-related challenges in a solution-oriented manner, demonstrating a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Requirements:
Possession of a valid Oklahoma Driver's License and a clean driving record.
Ability to lift and transport 50 lb. flooring boxes during loading and unloading processes.
Trainable in utilizing internet-connected smart devices for order verification and maintaining delivery schedules.
Exceptional customer service skills with a presentable and professional attitude.
