We are looking for a CNA to work the following shift at our Adult Day Health Center.
Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:30pm
What you'll be doing: Our Aides work to provide a safe therapeutic life-enriching setting focused on activities, interactions, and social support all while enjoying time with our participants!
Providing personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (i.e., feeding, transfers, ambulation, showering, toileting, hand washing).
Engaging participants in both activities, adjusting according to interest and ability.
Creatively involving participants who may appear to be isolated.
Maintaining records of attendance, participation, nutritional intake, and health monitoring.
Ensuring a safe & secure environment.
Working cooperatively with all staff and volunteers to facilitate teamwork, mentoring, and a positive work environment.

What Makes Us Different? At LIFE Senior Services Adult Day Health focuses on engaging seniors with activities and socialization. We provide a safe, friendly and supportive setting for seniors and disabled adults so their caregivers can find a healthy balance between work, home and the responsibilities of being a caregiver. Requirements:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Minimum one year of experience as a CNA. Hold and maintain a current Oklahoma Long Term Care Aide certification. Upon hire, will obtain/maintain current certifications in: First Aid, CPR, and Tulsa County Food Handlers.
SKILLS: A genuine desire to work with older adults or developmentally disabled young adults. Possess good communication and interpersonal skills with older adults, caregivers and coworkers. Present a caring, friendly attitude with an outgoing personality.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to lift at least 50 lbs., push 200 lbs., and walk or stand 90% of the time, while working. Good hearing and vision.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: The main work environment is an office setting of a non-profit organization providing a variety of services to seniors and their families. The activity level is high and the noise level is moderate. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position.
