Bring your skills, experience, and ideas to this highly collaborative team that works closely with our business product owners, Legal, IT, Cybersecurity and Marketing teams, to ensure compliance with consumer rights, HIPAA, NIST frameworks, and other regulatory or legal requirements.In the TDC Data Privacy role (which is inside the Legal department) you’ll leverage your project management and strong communication skills to support the governance and operations of the ONE Gas’ data privacy program. CIPP/CIPM certification is preferred. This position is a hybrid role with some remote work available during the week.Successful candidates will have 1+ years’ experience in data privacy, data governance, compliance, legal, or audit, as well as:

Intermediate understanding of privacy laws and regulations (US)

Experience with incorporating privacy principles in the design process of business processes, digital products, or services.

Experience conducting business process audits and/or coordinating third-party audits of privacy programs.

Experience creating or conducting privacy training or consulting

What You Will DoAssist in the implementation of the ONE Gas privacy programAssist in the creation and management of privacy policy for internal useDevelop privacy statements for internal and external useAssist in the creation and management of a personal data breach response planCraft privacy training and awareness programsAnalyze and consult on ways to maintain and improve adherence to regulatory requirements and corporate policiesAdvise business stakeholders on appropriate data usageConduct privacy impact and data protection assessments (PIA/DPA)Complete analysis and make recommendations for technology compliance across the Enterprise for management consideration.Unify disparate privacy activityFacilitate regulatory compliance through privacy governanceCollaborate with business stakeholders to control risk from potential procedural or technology changes that affect privacyResearch and validate new and/or changing regulations, directives, statutes, and/or laws and communicate requirements as needed.Collaborate with compliance process owners to assure measured goals are accomplished and report metrics to leadership.Facilitate cross-functional working sessions with stakeholders.Regular and reliable attendance is required in the performance of job.Employee may be required to perform additional duties as assigned.What You Will NeedPreferred Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Project Management, Cyber Security or an equivalent combination of formal education and the following job-related experience:

Experience in data privacy or governance, audit, compliance, information technology, cybersecurity, issue and risk management, and/or governmental/military contracts.

Ability to manage projects, perform assessments, particularly in client technologies, networking, application development, and commercial off-the-shelf solutions.

Experience with identifying, researching, evaluating, and prioritizing issues or specific situations and coordinating appropriate action/response.

CIPP/CIPM or PMP preferred

Experience developing metrics, measures, and scorecards for management and executive leadership.Ability to write reports and prepare documentation of activities and/or findings.Previous experience in reading and interpreting audit results, governmental regulations, policies and procedures, publications, manuals,contracts and correspondence.Experience with identifying, researching, evaluating and prioritizing issues or specific situations and coordinating appropriate action/response.Knowledge in how to develop and present information to individuals and groups.Proficient in Microsoft Office programs to include Excel, Word, Power Point, and Visio.Knowledge of oil and gas industry terminology.Experience interacting, advising, and communicating effectively.Demonstrated ability to read and write fluently in English.Minimum Applicable driver's licensePreferred Project Management Professional CertificationMobility to travel in and around office facilities.Communicate and/or exchange information verbally.Visual abilities sufficient to perform job duties.Diversity at ONE GasInclusion & Diversity is so important to us that we made it one of our core values, values that guide and direct our actions as we go about our daily business.
