They can send you a link to apply directly so they can receive credit!Job Posting End Date: This job posting will be removed on June 12, 2024 .What You Will DoExecutes fieldwork steps, including intermediate level tasks, on assigned internal audits and special projects, designed to evaluate whether key risks are adequately controlled.Responsible for conducting Tier 1 (alignment of procedures to regulatory requirements and completeness and accuracy of records of compliance) and 2 (effectiveness and efficiency) audits/review of core pipeline safety programs.Analyze, monitor, and evaluate the compliance programs (including but not limited to control room management, operator qualifications program, drug and alcohol program, integrity management plans, damage prevention, leak survey, odorization, corrosion, regulator and relief valve, public awareness, and emergency response), procedures and processes.Executes fieldwork (evaluation phase of review) steps on assigned review/audit.Review and audit compliance records and processes for evidence of organizational compliance.Collecting data, testing samples, assessing internal controls and compliance.Identify gaps and work with program owners/operations to draft corrective action plans (CAP).Proposes recommendations and/or best practices to resolve identified internal control deficiencies and/or to make processes more efficient and effective.Write audit/review reports with detailed finding & recommendations. Effectively communicate with internal stakeholders on review process, findings, and corrective actions.Interview employees throughout the Company to identify and document risks and related identified controls.Provide information and assistance with responses to state and Federal regulatory agency pipeline inquiries and notices.Research and interpret pipeline safety rules established by state and federal regulations pertaining to the Department of Transportation (DOT). Review operational procedures and practices in assessing their compliance with state, federal, and company requirements.Analyze and evaluate internal compliance, corporate policies, procedures, processes, and records against defined metrics to measure the effectiveness of the program, provide feedback and recommend appropriate changes to processes.Regular and reliable attendance is required in performance of job.Employee may be required to perform additional duties as assigned.What You Will NeedBachelor's degree in engineering, technology, physical science or an equivalent combination of formal education and the following job-related experience:Working knowledge in audit, compliance, operations and/or regulatory environments.Previous experience and training including transmission/distribution pipeline operations, internal controls and internal audit techniques, report writing, and the energy industry.Working knowledge with pipeline safety inspection and/or developing and executing audit programs, including researching, analyzing, and preparing audit documentation.Limited experience managing projects.Work collaboratively with cross-functional groups on long-term projects or programs.Read and interpret audit results, governmental regulations, policies and procedures, publications, manuals, contracts, and correspondence.Knowledge in developing and presenting information to individuals and groups.Experience in use and function of office equipment including computers and applicable software.Working knowledge of oil and gas industry terminology.An understanding of how to identify, research, evaluate and prioritize problems or specific situations and coordinating appropriate action/response.Experience interacting, advising, and communicating effectively.Read and write fluently in English.Applicable driver's license.
