Employee focused.JOB SUMMARYThis role is accountable for scheduling and inventory management for the unregulated RP&C (refined products and crude oil) commercial group. The position is responsible for coordinating activity with Risk Control, Accounting, Trading, and External Customers. The position helps to mitigate risk and create value for ONEOK by being the gatekeeper of our inventories, exposure positions, contractual agreements, and market opportunities. An emphasis on fostering strong relationships both internally and externally.Job Profile SummaryPerforms expert level of work related to nomination, confirmation and scheduling activities and daily business analysis for commercial strategies.Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Schedule and nominate refined products and crude inventory movements within various inventory systems (T4, Atlas, Cobalt) and the commodity management system (RightAngle)

Daily management of inventory, nominations, and other scheduling requirements to support commercial activities with multiple counterparties across various internal and external assets

Interact with risk control, accounting and other internal and external stakeholders regarding nominations, allocations, billing, imbalances, etc

Daily analysis of physical and financial positions, contractual obligations and market data that guide the marketing team’s execution strategy to optimize value and hedge against commodity exposure risk

Coordinate with traders regarding overall daily scheduling and balancing positions on interstate and intrastate pipelines

Analyze physical inventory positions and movements for refined products and crude in internal and external inventory systems for accuracy

Analyze refined products, crude, and NGL markets and collaborate with marketing team to optimize the value of marketing and hedging strategies

Compile, analyze, interpret, and assist in making decisions from reporting of MTM positions, risk exposure positions, hedge status of financial plan, break even analysis, etc

Interact with gas control representatives, customers, operators, producers, pipeline companies and others concerning nominations, allocations, billing, imbalances, daily flow and operational orders

Calculate, prepare, analyze and/or verify information or reports including, but not limited to:

Allocations

Balancing deliveries

Nominations and confirmations

Pricing

Flow rates/capacity issues

Measurement discrepancies

Storage balances

Electronic bulletin board communications

Provide training, instruction and guidance for scheduling colleagues

Attend meetings representing the department to provide insight and direction on projects or cross-departmental issues

Assist leader by reviewing the work of colleagues

Recommend new processes and initiate new ideas; take lead role during implementations of new processes

Analyze data and complete projects with generally no assistance; may serve as a project manager

Available to occasionally work outside designated work schedule in order to handle supply disruptions, changes and emergencies

Available to be on-call regarding scheduling disruptions, emergencies and additional issues

Education

Bachelor's Degree in engineering, business administration or an equivalent combination of formal education and the following job related knowledge or experience

Work Experience

3 - 5 years related work experience scheduling and/or related experience in the oil and gas industry

Experience and thorough knowledge of nomination and scheduling of gas or NGL volumes on a pipeline system

Experience and knowledge of operational aspects and assets across the systems of the applicable business unit

Experience in use of software such as: Microsoft Excel, Word, Access and Power Point

Experience and/or training related to:

Gas purchase and sales

Gas control

Gas accounting

Transportation services

Volume control

Customer service

Pipeline tariffs

Pipeline operations

NGL distribution (as specified by position)

Experience working in a time-sensitive environment with inflexible deadlines

Experience reading and interpreting applicable contracts, agreements, reports, statements, invoices, confirmations, correspondence, tariffs, government regulations, industry standards, electronic bulletin board communications and company policies and procedures

Experience composing and preparing balancing reports, volume summaries, confirmations, reports, pipeline postings, storage reports and electronic bulletin board communications

Experience analyzing information, conducting meetings and making presentations

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Knowledge of: scheduling functions and commercial relationships with the ability to discern functional and transactional affects

Skills in: sound problem solving which include the ability to: research, analyze and resolve issues and/or questions concerning scheduling, nominations, balancing and allocations without supervisor assistance

Ability to: apply basic math, algebra and statistical methods

Ability to: manage and prioritize multiple assignments with competing deadlines

Ability to: communicate and/or exchange written and verbal information or instructions; conduct oral presentations
