They can send you a link to apply directly so they can receive credit!Job Posting End Date : This job posting will be removed on May 28, 2024 .What You Will DoPerform intermediate level of tax accounting and other financial activities; analyze and prepare related tax returns and reports (as specified by position).Analyze and prepare journal entries, records, account reconciliations, reports, and budgets related to tax, accounting, or finance.Develop and maintain applicable spreadsheet models and distributed applications such as those used in finance and other accounting activities.Verify and perform calculations and analyses including:

Sales and Use tax returns

Property tax returns

Assist with income tax accounting and return preparation

Cash flow

Financial ratios

Actual to forecast and historical period variance analysis

Depreciations (book)

Rate/tariff schedules

Projections/forecasts

Allocations

Compile, verify, and prepare a variety of financial information including:

Actual to forecast and historical period variance analysis

Governmental/regulatory reports

Invoices

Financial reports

Reconciliation reports

Quarterly income statements

Provide information and assistance to employees from governmental and regulatory agencies, auditing firms, management, and others concerning accounting processes and multiple financial reports.Compliance with Sarbanes Oxley and applicable Regulatory Requirements.Regular and reliable attendance is required in performance of job.Employee may perform additional responsibilities as assigned.Make recommendations to improve departmental job, processes and proceduresUpdate job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; read professional publications; maintain personal networks; participate in professional organizations.Regular and reliable attendance is required in performance of job.Employee may perform additional responsibilities as assigned.What You Will NeedMinimum bachelor's degree accounting, finance, or other related field.Experience with and knowledge of generally accepted accounting methods and procedures.Experience performing an intermediate level of accounting activities such as financial accounting, property accounting, account classification, or gas accounting.Experience with application of math, algebra, and statistical methods.Experience in use and function of office equipment including computers and applicable software.Experience and/or training related to:

Spreadsheet and word processing software applications

Financial accounting and reporting standards and processes (specified by position)

Economic forecasting/modeling and corporate budget functions (specified by position)

Regulated accounting activities and terminology (specified by position)
