Entry Level Draftsman
Pay: 20-25 hr. Based on experience
This is an entry level position for the right candidate with a good understanding of Auto Desk products, Inventor and AutoCAD for example.
The ideal candidate will have proficient knowledge of Inventor and AutoCAD. Fresh out of school or looking to try a new field within the 3d modeling realm then this is a great opportunity.
Knowledge of steel fabrication and design is a plus, knowledge of fired heaters, boilers, and or heat exchangers is a big plus. But it is not necessary, as this can be taught to the right candidate.
Key responsibilities:
- Create 3D models and 2D fabrication drawings using Inventor.
- Create an accurate bill of materials (BOM) for production needs.
- Creation of various documentation and deliverables required for fabrication.
- Prepare, review and redraft based on feedback from the engineering team.
- Identify and communicate potential design problems to the rest of the team.
- Along with various office tasks.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in CAD software including Inventor and AutoCAD. From past work experience or schooling experience.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle stressful situations.
- Must show strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must show strong organizational and time management skills.
