Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant position for a small family business that values your personal time and compensates well. Our desire is for you to be able to build your work around your life, rather than the other way around.
Hours of Work
This position will begin as a part-time position working approximately 20 hours per week, but hours will increase (if desired) for the right candidate. This position will begin with on-site work but will transition to a remote position as responsibilities are understood and performance is established.
Compensation
Compensation begins at $20 per hour and will increase as performance in position is established.
Required Skills & Knowledge
Fundamental accounting knowledge and working knowledge of QuickBooks Online are required, accounting credentials are not required. Operating knowledge of support applications that sync with QuickBooks Online is preferred. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs is required, but you don’t have to be an Excel ninja or even know how to do a mail merge. Most importantly, critical thinking skills, the ability to figure things out, and a pleasant attitude are all required. You should be an efficient, smart, and organized person.
