This role will be 100% onsite, covering for our receptionist during their recovery period. As the first point of contact for visitors and callers, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth office operations and providing excellent customer service.Key Responsibilities:
Greet visitors warmly and direct them to the appropriate personnel or department.
Answer and route incoming phone calls promptly and professionally.
Manage the scheduling of appointments and maintain an organized front desk area.
Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.
Perform basic administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and maintaining office supplies.
Assist with ad hoc tasks to support the office team as needed.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in a receptionist or front desk role is preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) or similar tools.
Professional demeanor with the ability to provide exceptional customer service.
Ability to handle a multi-line phone system is a plus.
Schedule:This is a temporary full-time position, with hours typically from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.Requirements Minimum of 1+ years of experience in a receptionist role or similar. Proficiency in answering multi-line phone systems. Demonstrated ability in providing outstanding customer service. Experience with data entry tasks and maintaining accurate records. Proficient in email correspondence, ensuring clear and detail oriented communication. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and clients. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data organization and analysis. Experience with Microsoft Outlook for email communication, scheduling, and task management. Proficient in Microsoft Word for document creation and editing. Experience in organizing files and maintaining a tidy and efficient work environment. Proven ability to schedule appointments, manage calendars, and coordinate meetings.
