Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Experienced Carpet Cleaner to join our professional cleaning team. The ideal candidate has a strong background in residential and/or commercial carpet cleaning, including stain removal, deep steam cleaning, and using a variety of carpet care equipment. You will be expected to deliver high-quality service with attention to detail and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform carpet, rug, and upholstery cleaning using professional equipment and techniques (e.g., hot water extraction, dry cleaning, bonnet cleaning).
- Inspect and pre-treat heavily soiled or stained areas before cleaning.
- Operate and maintain truck-mounted and portable carpet cleaning systems.
- Apply appropriate cleaning solutions while following safety protocols and manufacturer guidelines.
- Provide outstanding customer service, including walking clients through the cleaning process and managing expectations.
- Load/unload equipment and supplies before and after jobs.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including proper care of company equipment and vehicles.
- Complete daily logs, job notes, and customer feedback reports accurately.
- Uphold company standards and ensure high customer satisfaction on every job.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of professional carpet cleaning experience required.
- Proficient in using various cleaning machines and chemicals.
- Strong knowledge of different carpet and fabric types and the appropriate cleaning methods.
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work on feet for extended periods, and handle physically demanding tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance and communication.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred (Not Required):
- IICRC Certification (Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification)
- Experience with water damage restoration or tile/grout cleaning.
