We're a high level metal furniture / architectural metal fabrication shop located in OKC, and we're in need of a welder/fabricator with at least 7 years of experience. Artistic experience is not required. We're looking for an individual that takes pride in what they do and has fun doing it. We build some really cool products here, so we look for people who'll take true ownership in the quality of their work.
This position also requires a decent amount of on-site installation work. You may be required to drive a company vehicle, so a clean driver license is required.

- This isn't like welding in the Oil and Gas business, our products have to look perfect when complete. You must understand the need for super high-quality workmanship.

Other Qualifications:
- Must be able to speak english and communicate clearly
- Must be able to read a tape measure and understand shop drawings
- Must be available at least 40 hours a week (hours of operations Mon.-Thurs. 7:00-5:30pm) Friday's are for overtime as needed.
- Must be self-efficient, motivated and a quick learner
- Must be able to read and write
- Must be willing to keep a clean work space!
- May be asked to stay overnight, out of town every once in a while for certain jobs. This is super rare.
Further Details:
- The job entails mig and tig welding, probably 85% mig and 15% tig. Tig can be taught if you don't know how.
- We build off of detailed shop drawings that we do in-house
- You'll be required to clean the shop and organize on a regular basis (if you're sloppy, don't apply)
- You'll be expected to meet deadlines and use your time wisely
- You have to be a detail oriented person, furniture fabrication requires perfection
- You'll need to be able to lift and carry no less than 50lbs
- You'll need to be able to work on your feet all day
- We install our architectural products, some of this work is outdoors

Pay:
This definitely depends on your skills, personality etc If you're really good, you'll be compensated accordingly. We employ some great fabricators and have seen the best of the best. Some people think they're really good, but soon find out that they aren't as good as they thought. If you do great work, we'll want you to stay, so we'll make sure the pay is where it should be.
