Local Hot Mix Asphalt Production Company seeks applicants for Asphalt Lab Technician
Full-Time hourly position with benefits that include:

Specific Requirements include:
Applicants must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check for employment eligibility with the company
Valid Drivers’ License
Basic ADA knowledge
Duties to include:
Setting up and aligning forms for concrete, according to blueprints or plans
Applying sealing and hardening components to cure surfaces
Using saws and cutting tools to cut joints into the concrete
Ensuring tools and equipment are cleaned and maintained
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift, move, push and pull 30 to 50 pounds frequently. Occasionally, over 50 pounds with assistance.
Ability to kneel and squat occasionally
Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time
Ability to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions (hot and cold)

Pouring and smoothing concrete to ensure a level surface
Working with a concrete pump to pour the concrete directly from a truck
Tie rebar
Cutting concrete
Installing steel bolts and tying rebar
Setting forms
