We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Dental Assistant. The ideal candidate will be a hard worker with a passion for learning and a positive attitude. As a Dental Assistant in our office, you will play a vital role in assisting our dentist during procedures, ensuring the comfort of our patients, and helping to maintain a clean and organized workspace. You will be joining as a second assistant while our current is on maternity leave with opportunity to continue when they return.
Responsibilities:
Assist the dentist during dental procedures
Prepare treatment rooms and equipment for patient appointments
Take and develop dental x-rays
Sterilize instruments and equipment
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices
Maintain accurate patient records
Help with administrative tasks as needed
Help with social media content
Ordering supplies
Tracking lab cases
Requirements:
Previous experience as a dental assistant preferred but not required
Certification or training from an accredited dental assisting program is a plus
Must be a hard worker with a strong work ethic with great attention to detail
Eager to learn and grow in the dental field
Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
Must love dogs, as we have an office dogtor who is part of our team!
Schedule:
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday: 7:30am-4:30pm
Tuesday: 6:30am-3:30pm
