Find your future with us.Boeing Defense, Space and Security is seeking a Senior System Engineer located in the Oklahoma City, OK . This successful candidate will lead sustainment activities for one of our international customers and be a member of our E-7 Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW&C) Sustainment Systems Engineering Integration and Test (SEIT) team in Oklahoma City.This level 6 position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite. Will require up to 25% travel.Position Responsibilities:

System requirements development, decomposition, and allocation

System functional analysis and functional decomposition

System architecture, design, and synthesis

System verification and validation of requirements

Support FAA and Military Certification

System analysis and project engineering (Technical Performance Measures, Risk, Issue, & Opportunity Management, SEIT performance/leading indicator metrics)

Lead and support cross-functional teams, working groups, program, and customer meetings and design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR)

Developing and delivering SEIT products such as architecture models/documents, requirements databases, specifications, reports, etc.

Collaborating with customer organizations

Mentoring and coaching (ensuring team understands & executes Boeing processes, ensuring quality of all the team's internal/external deliverables)

Traveling periodically to support customer and supplier meetings

Utilizing Model Based Systems Engineering Tools (CAMEO, Rhapsody, DOORS, 3DX, TeamCenter, etc.)

Security Clearance / Export Control Requirements:This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry

14+ years of experience in Engineering

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Aerospace Systems Engineering Experience

Ability to Travel 25%

Ability to collaborate with team members and create plans for executing on deliverables

Experience in System Architecture Development and Modeling tools (CAMEO/MSOSA, Rhapsody)

Experience in Functional decomposition and analysis

Experience in Requirements Management and tools (i.e. IBM DOORs)

Experience in verification, validation of requirements

Experience in risk, issue, and opportunity management

Experience project engineering and executing system design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR)

Experience in systems integration and test including lab integration, ground test, and flight test

Experience in Airworthiness and Certification (including FAA, EASA, Military)

INCOSE Certification

Experience with mentoring and leading other engineers

Experience working with international customers

Typical Education & Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+9 years' related work experience, Master+12 years' related work experience).
