Description Location: OKC Type: Temp to Hire Working Hours: Monday - FridayJob Description:As a First Party Examiner with Collections experience, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our collections procedures. Your expertise in this field will be leveraged to manage accounts, maintain communication with debtors and drive recovery efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in collections, relevant legal knowledge and excellent communication skills.Responsibilities: Servicing a high volume portfolio of accounts effectively, ensuring collections are regular and within the stipulated timeframe Implementing systematic approaches for collections to maximize efficiency. Adherence to all federal and state laws as well as company policies relating to collections and repossessions. Communicating with customers/debtors to negotiate pay-offs, resolve delinquency issues, and procure payment promises. Taking appropriate action on accounts as necessary. Developing and maintaining a comprehensive understanding of credit bureau reports. Updating and maintaining accurate account records. Providing detailed reports to upper management and suggesting improvements in procedures if necessary. Maintaining professional interaction with the stakeholders involved.Requirements Qualifications: Proven experience in collections, preferably as a First Party Examiner. Deep understanding of the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act (FDCPA) and other relevant regulations. Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills. High sense of responsibility, and an ability to work independently. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office programs and related software.
