Job Summary: The incumbent will partner with the ELMT Leader, engineering organizations, Programs, and Sustainment Operations leadership to develop and maintain a self-sufficient Engine Life Management Team with connectivity to the respective organizations. In addition, he/she will also help maintain the trajectory of additional capabilities for engineering support of all Military Engines Sustainment Operations worldwide and the US Air Force Propulsion Maintenance Group at Tinker Air Force Base.Key Responsibilities:

Key ELMT focal for F135 program, collaboration directly with internal and external leadership

Work with ELMT leadership to establish ELMT growth & development strategy

Assist ELMT leadership with implementation of strategic vision

Ensure ELMT staffing aligns with need

Provide guidance and direction to the team in resolution of complex issues

Ensure effective processes are in place to drive ELMT efficiency & ensure timely support of depot operations

Ensure effective integration of ELMT throughout depot network

Work with Military Engines Programs & Sustainment Operations to establish clear priorities for the ELMT

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from ABET (Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology)

12+ years of Engineering experience, or 10+ years with an advanced degree

5+ years of Engine Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul (MRO) engineering experience or equivalent

Experience in strategic leadership

Demonstrated ability to collaborate across multiple functional areas

Strong communication capability and the ability to be effective in a VUCA environment

The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.

U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Travel : 10-15%

Preferred Qualifications:

Advanced degree in Engineering and/or MBA

Excellent analytical skills with the ability to analyze situations accurately and effectively

Fully committed to providing the highest possible standards of customer service and support

Goal-oriented and results-driven

Experience with operational military engines, the aftermarket, and process improvement

Possess direct customer and aftermarket operations experience

Demonstrated problem solving capability and the ability to lead by influence

Onsite : Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.The salary range for this role is 143,000 USD - 287,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
