Aptitude Habilitation Services provides intensive behavioral- and language-based therapies for children diagnosed with Autism.

Become an ABA Behavioral Technician and make a difference one day at a time, working with children diagnosed with autism.
As an ABA Behavioral Technician (BT), you will be working one on one with children diagnosed with autism. BTs are responsible for their client for the entire session (1-4 hours) including keeping the child engaged, setting up incidental learning opportunities, teaching appropriate play and social skills, and providing reinforcement.
Children in our program range from infant to 21 years in age. Shift times vary depending upon the age and needs of the client. Typically, services are provided in the afternoons and evenings. Flexible schedules are available making this an ideal supplementary position for people currently employed as Instructional Assistants, Teachers, Students, and/or Parents with the requisite experience.
Placement with a client is dependent on candidate completing all training and certification processes which may take between 4 -8 weeks.
APPLICANTS MUST:
Have a High School diploma or GED equivalent
AND
Must be a BACB Registered Behavior Technician or be willing to obtain credential. AHS offers an $200.00 sign on bonus for applicants who are already RBTs. For those who are not, AHS will provide training and supervision to acquire the credential.
Must have current CPR or Basic Life Support Training or be willing to obtain certificate.
Must clear a criminal background check.
In addition, successful candidates must:
Have reliable transportation
Have excellent oral English skills
Be able to work independently with minimum supervision
Be professional, motivated, and energetic
Be available minimum three days a week.
