Monday- Friday8:00AM-4:30PMPay Grade 11Weekly Earned Wage Access is an option for this position.Job Purpose or Objective(s): The Compliance Coordinator is responsible for providing support within the Rental Property Services department by ensuring policies, procedures, and HUD regulations are followed. Communicates any non-compliance and unethical findings to Operations Director. Establishes, implements, and follows up on corrective action plans as necessary.Primary Tasks:Create compliance plans for Rental Property Services annually.Perform compliance audits of tenant and unit files throughout all Rental Property Services programs.Perform self-monitoring throughout all Rental Property Services programs to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and applicable state and HUD regulations.Maintain compliance and self-monitoring spreadsheets and monitor the Laserfiche filing system for accuracy.Report compliance and self-monitoring findings to program Director and prepare corrective action plans, following up on corrective actions as necessary.Identify corrective action to improve or resolve issues that are detected during the audit process and perform follow-up procedures as needed.Review transactions and supporting documents to identify unethical conduct.Protects confidentiality of all financial records and data and personal identifiable information.Perform other duties as may be assigned.MINIMUMBachelor’s Degree in Business, Management or related fieldAbility to obtain Certified Occupancy Specialist, Certified Manager of Housing, and Certified Manager of Maintenance Certifications within 12 monthsAbility to compose clear, concise correspondence, internal policies, procedures, presentations and narrative reports.Strong time management, writing proficiency, and computer/software competency skillsKnowledge of local, state, and federal housing regulations and self-monitoring requirementsIntermediate user of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook1 year experience providing self-monitoring and/or auditing servicesTARGETMaster’s Degree in Business, Management or related fieldCertified Occupancy Specialist Certified Manager of HousingCertified Manager of MaintenanceEffectively composes clear, concise correspondence, internal policies, procedures, presentations and narrative reports.Exceptional time management, writing proficiency, and computer/software competency skillsAdvanced knowledge of local, state, and federal housing regulations and self-monitoring requirementsAdvanced user of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook2 or more years’ experience in Property Management and providing self-monitoring and/or auditing servicesAbout the Choctaw NationThe Choctaw Nation is the third-largest Indian nation in the United States, with over 200,000 tribal members and more than 11,000 employees.
