Drills, taps, or reams holes; aligns components, and bolts, screws, or rivets them together using hand tools or portable power tools.
Installs moving parts, such as shafts, levers, fan blades, bearings, and work them to test free movement.
Bends and installspipe for lubricating systems; aligns and meshes gears in gearbox to assemble system of gears including drive motors and fan shafts alignment.
Operates tube-rolling equipment after training. Conduct hydro testing or assists in testing operation of completed product after training.
Overhead cranes or other lifting equipment as appropriate.
Prepare tubes or fin tubes for weld tube-to-tube sheet with steam cleaner and/or manual cleaning method. Works with other workers during tube insertion as per assignment.
