Mobile Home Park Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced part-time Mobile Home Park Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our mobile home community. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills. This position offers the opportunity to play a pivotal role in maintaining a thriving and welcoming environment for all residents.

Responsibilities:

Resident Relations:

Serve as the primary point of contact for resident inquiries, requests, and concerns.

Foster positive relationships with residents through effective communication and proactive engagement. Enforce community rules and regulations in a fair and consistent manner. Office hours will be 9:00am until 1:00pm daily, Monday through Friday.

Leasing and Rent Collection:

Manage the leasing process, including advertising available units, conducting property tours, and screening prospective tenants.

Ensure timely collection of rent payments and follow up on any outstanding balances.

Handle lease renewals and lease terminations according to company policies and applicable laws.

Administrative Duties:

Maintain accurate records of resident information, leases, and financial transactions.

Prepare and distribute notices, newsletters, and other communications to residents as needed. We manage the park through a project management app, this position will require that you are on it.

Property Management:

The overall appearance and functionality of the mobile home park is the responsibility of one of our residents, so it is not a job function of this position. However, interfacing with this individual will be mutually beneficial as they are a source of knowledge.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in property management, preferably in a mobile home park or multifamily housing environment.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse groups of people.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Proficiency in basic computer applications.

Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing mobile home parks and landlord-tenant relationships.

Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in property management is a plus.

We will work out an additional bonus based on lot availability.
