Job Title: Welder - Flux Core and MIGJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Welder specializing in Flux Core and MIG welding on heavy gauge carbon steel. The ideal candidate will have experience in blueprint reading, fitting and fabrication, and operating forklifts and overhead cranes.Responsibilities
Perform Flux Core and MIG welding on heavy gauge carbon steel
Read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols
Use tape measures and measurement tools
Grind, fit, and fabricate products as needed
Operate forklifts and overhead cranes
Utilize hand and power tools for fitting and fabricating
Lift materials weighing 50-75 lbs. to adjust for welds
Maintain attention to detail and keep the work area clean and organized
Essential Skills
Proficiency in Flux Core and MIG welding
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols
Experience with overhead, flat, and structural welding
Skilled in operating forklifts and overhead cranes
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in welding stainless steel
Knowledge of fitting and fabrication techniques
Ability to use tape measures and various measurement tools
Attention to detail and organizational skills
