Assist with social media content for the Mahoning County Board of Commissioners' and CVB by scheduling and creating content that encourages visitation to Mahoning County and provides information on services to Mahoning County residents. Serve as back-up on the CVB website for edits and changes to the website; review current trends and make recommendations to update website; study and report on website analytics; actively search for user-generated content and photos posted on social media sites that would aid in marketing Mahoning County; assist with e-mail marketing campaigns as well as, writing and deploying press releases and other communications to promote Mahoning County Services, departments, and venues. Handle annual registration of all Mahoning County Hotels/Motels and distribute yearly lodging tax forms; process County Lodging and Exercise Tax payments and record hotel gross sales. Represent CVB at meetings, conferences, trade shows and events as required.[Qualifications:]{.underline}Associate degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising or Communications with strong emphasis on Marketing/Social Media Marketing/Digital marketing.
