HR Business Partner Director-PS22250Location: United StatesNewRequisition #: PS22250This position can belocated at any Anthem office location; Indianapolis, Atlanta, or Virginia Beachare preferred locations
Responsible to solveorganizational challenges through people-related solutions and serve as anintegral part of a market, assigned area(s) of a market or enterprisearea's senior and/or executive leadership team, to understand every aspectof the business and be a thought leader on human capital andorganizational topics.
Create and implement theend-to-end human capital strategy that will drive the business to meet itsgoals.
This role requires strategicreasoning and thinking, use of data to guide work, being comfortablechallenging convention and, in some cases, influencing leaders to reassesshow work is done.
Partner with a cross-functionalgroup of subject matter experts within Anthem's HR centers of excellenceto design and execute your strategy for how the business staffs, onboards,develops, motivates, retains and organizes work.
As a core part of this role,this position will execute programs to support Anthem associates,including talent management, career planning, performance management,leadership coaching, data analysis, compensation and rewards, learning anddevelopment, recognition programs and strategic organizationaldevelopment.
Responsible to be a subjectmatter expert regarding organizational and people related planning andexecution.
Provide insightful data toguide decision making and offer proactive solutions, solving problems andgetting to the root cause of any issue, regardless of complexity.
Consult with leadership tocreate comprehensive people plans to influence lasting and sustainableefficiencies.
Design and quickly implementsolutions that cut across multiple disciplines, even those beyond humancapital and organizational solutions.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, ability to analyze data, understand trends, including thedevelopment and monitoring of the EEO/AA action plan for designatedsite/location; develop recommendations for action based on theanalysis.
Strong ability to influencethrough strong relationships, expertise and data and the ability to managea complex set of stakeholders.
Comfortable rolling up yoursleeves to get things done and the next moment, being part of deeplycomplex strategy discussions.
Strong sense of the importanceof teamwork and collaboration.
Superior communication skillsand understand how to communicate large, complex change.
May provide guidance, mentoringand coaching to HR Consultants and/or other Human Resources BusinessPartners.
Required
BA/BS degree;
5 to 8 years of relevant workexperience, including HR experience, business partner or generalistexperience with data, analysis, trends and reports;
or any combination of educationand experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Strong skills with relationshipbuilding
Microsoft Officeexperience
Experience using data to drivebusiness decisions through heavy analytics
Must have supported seniorleaders in a highly matrix environment
Experience leading changeand organizational effectiveness initiatives with defined outcomes
Strong reasoning, criticalthinking required
Must be results oriented with afocus on execution and delivery
Master's Degree
HR designation (SHRM-CPor SHRM-SCP).
Strong negotiation skills
Experience managing largebusiness units
