Overview
Credence Management Solutions, LLC (Credence) is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the National Guard Bureau (NGB) Joint Artificial Intelligence Center (JAIC) at WPAFB in Dayton Ohio. Responsibilities- Perform systems engineering to include expertise in systems design and integration; manufacturing, quality and industrial engineering; airworthiness; and configuration, and data management.
- Help develop, deploy, and maintain processes to assure weapon systems are fully integrated, manufactured, sustained, configuration managed and operationally safe, suitable and effective throughout their life cycle.
- Understand and execute AFPD 62-6, USAF Airworthiness, through standardized processes, and issuance of flight authorizations.
- Apply OSS&E and airworthiness processes as well as provide risk assessments, safety analyses and recommendations, and address high priority safety issues.
- Review/develop/update applicable program documentation for systems engineering relevant requirements/issues.
- Participate in and assist in the planning of systems engineering risk assessments by establishing a risk management review, coordinating action item status, and updating risk management metrics.
- Support airworthiness efforts by developing and maintaining a comprehensive airworthiness criteria certification (tailored airworthiness certification criteria and/or modification airworthiness certification criteria) compliance package, and preparing an airworthiness risk assessment.
- Support the planning and execution of the Airworthiness Review Board meeting in support of obtaining military flight releases/military type certificates.
- Produce draft documentation as requested or necessitated by programmatic limits based on cost, schedule and performance to support the airworthiness process.
- Review and analyze technical proposals or modifications for design feasibility and system capability.
- Support performance effectiveness, cost effectiveness, cost performance, life-cycle cost, producibility, maintainability, supportability, reliability, technical and schedule risk assessments, and scheduling trade-off studies.
- Support systems analyses to include, but not be limited to, system design/design feasibility and state-of-the-art assessments.
- TS/SCI security clearance required
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of three years of experience required.
- Additional experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
