Overview

Credence Management Solutions, LLC (Credence) is seeking an Energy Manager to support the 88th CEG at WPAFB

Responsibilities

  • Provide Subject Matter Specialist (SMS) support for database and systems operation, management, support, and analysis for Energy Resource Management.
  • Provide high-level functional support for evaluation and implementation advice on exceptionally complex facility Energy Management application, database analysis, and systems problems.
  • Support the 88 CEG/CENPE overall mission for improvement in energy-efficient operation of key USAF facilities, facility and infrastructure equipment and control systems, utility demand reduction, and to facilitate energy resiliency, conservation, and funding opportunities for WPAFB to be in alignment with the Energy Policy Act of 2005 (EP Act 2005), Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007, Sec 432 and the Air Force energy program vision as outlined in SAF/IE's 2017 Energy Flight Plan.
  • Responsible for quality control of databases to ensure accurate and appropriate use of data, including conducting quality control on information in Air Force's Project Management System (NEXGEN)/TRIRIGA reporting tools, CE's new Advanced Metering Reading System (AMRS), billing and historical energy databases, to diagnose, resolve, and document reporting anomalies, data conflicts and inappropriate data
  • Provide advanced technical knowledge and analysis of Air Force Civil Engineering and Department of Energy (DoE) IT systems, databases and technologies to populate, verify and provide quality control of Energy Conservation Opportunity (ECO) data in support of the DoE's Federal Energy Management Program EISA 432 Compliance Tracking System and NEXGEN/TRIRIGA (Energy Reporting, Financial Management, Project Management, and Work Control) as directed.
  • Provide advanced technical knowledge and data analysis of various data products for the generation of reports, to include Performance Work Statements, Facility Energy Scorecards and other technical papers, data and charts.
  • Provide technical data collection and analysis and accurate data entry into information intensive and highly complex DoE, Secretary of the Air Force (SECAF), Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC), Air Force Installation and Mission Support Center, and Air Force Civil Engineer Center energy data calls which include Updating and Tracking Databases, to assist with preparation, quality control, package development, and staffing of various AF, DoD, and Federal energy reports, including the Annual data calls for EISA 2007 Sec 432 CTS and the annual Energy Management and Resilience Report to report energy data performance Congress.
  • Responsible for maintaining data accuracy in databases for submission of awards for Air Force, DoD and Federal energy awards programs. Services may include, but are not limited to: Utilizing software such as the Microsoft Office applications and DoE Building Life Cycle Cost analysis software, provide the Government with IT and technical advice on emerging energy technologies and services in support the Air Force mission to fulfill the requirements of EISA 2007, Sec 432 requirements.
  • Incorporate emerging technologies, and require data to be gathered, input, interpreted and analyzed for the development, maintenance and validating of databases, to include NEXGEN/TRIRIGA Operations and Energy Management work center data, Base-level Covered Building List databases, Buildings and Infrastructure databases, Installation level Real Property databases including GeoBase, and BUILDER SMS software system for facility HVAC energy components.
  • Provide technical advice and support for the AMRS and local Itron RF meter data as required. Services include, but are not limited to, providing and/or assisting the Government with IT and technical advice and support on each system's operation, utilizing such systems to develop energy consumption databases and archiving consumption data for future research purposes. Provide technical advice for operation, control and adjustment of EMCS and AMRS equipment, Technical advice for Hardware and software upgrades, maintenance and inspection of EMCS and AMRS equipment, maintaining logs, producing reports for all data systems.
  • Provide technical advice and database review for HVAC equipment, and data warehousing and data cleansing of all Energy systems data.

Qualifications

  • Secret security clearance required
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, mathematics, or physical sciences substantially relevant to facility and infrastructure type projects from accredited institutions within the 50 United States required
  • 3 years facility and infrastructure energy related experience, preferably with military or other government facilities required
  • Energy Management Certification such as the Certified Energy Manager from the Association of Energy Engineers, or equivalent) and/or Professional Registration is highly desired
