These include AVEVA/Wonderware’s Archestra Control System, Microsoft Visual Studio C# applications, AVEVA’s Operations, Performance and Quality MES modules, AVEVA Work Tasks Business Process Management software, and other related technologies.Responsibilities
Develop and maintain AVEVA/Wonderware’s Archestra Control System, including graphics, troubleshooting, objects, scripts, and MES applications to provide necessary MES functionality and information for operations.
Modify and create Microsoft Visual Studio C# applications.
Work with AVEVA’s Operations, Performance, and Quality MES modules.
Utilize AVEVA Work Tasks Business Process Management (BPM) software.
Manage and develop Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) based on AVEVA MES modules.
Utilize AVEVA’s BI Gateway to consolidate and aggregate data from different sources, making it manageable and accessible.
Work with Rockwell PLCs to provide necessary MES data and functionality.
Manage Microsoft Power BI Report Server and Microsoft Power BI Power Platform for data modeling, reports, dashboards, and infrastructure to meet business needs.
Migrate SSRS and Tableau reports to Power BI.
Develop data feeds to external partners using Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (2019+).
Manage Microsoft Server, Microsoft SQL Server (2019+), and Microsoft Reporting Services.
Gather and understand business requirements for data visualization and analysis.
Collaborate with engineers and analysts to acquire, clean, and transform data for reporting purposes.
Create complex DAX calculations and measures to support data analysis.
Ensure data security and compliance with best practices.
Travel up to 25% to other internal sites.
Essential Skills
7+ years of experience in Controls, Automation, or MES Engineering.
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Software, or a related field.
Experience with SQL server databases.
Knowledge of MES or SCADA systems.
Experience building reports with Power BI or similar software.
Willingness to travel up to 25% of the year.
Ability to read ladder logic.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with Aveva / Wonderware.
Proficiency in Power BI.
Knowledge of liquid processes.
Work EnvironmentThe position offers a hybrid schedule, requiring two days in the office and three days remote. Mandatory in-office days are Mondays and Thursdays, with flexibility to work from home on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays unless project requirements necessitate onsite presence. During onboarding and training, onsite attendance is required for five days a week for shadowing purposes.
