Software Developer

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Software Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will be based in Wooster, Ohio and will work as part of a team to maintain and enhance our proprietary ERP system. This role also includes troubleshooting user issues and maintaining software systems and databases.Responsibilities Support the IT team in maintaining hardware, software, and other systems Assist with troubleshooting issues and provide technical support Resolve issues with existing ERP software Develop new software programs to enhance business operations Utilize Visual Basic .Net (VB.NET), SQL, .NET, C# - Sharp in the development and maintenance of software systems Work collaboratively with a small team of developers to contribute to meaningful projects Assist with various IT related tasks including cybersecurity Maintain a keen attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills Clearly communicate in both written and verbal form with team members and stakeholders. Requirements Must have at least 1 year of experience as a Software Developer or in a similar role Proficient in Visual Basic .Net (VB.NET), SQL, .NET, and C# - Sharp Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a similar field is preferred Strong understanding of software development principles, algorithms, data structures, and design patterns Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to debug code efficiently Experience with software version control systems like Git is beneficial Proficient in writing clean, readable, and easily maintainable code Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with a team Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is a plus Ability to learn new programming languages and technologies quickly.
