CNC Machinist2nd shift 2:30pm-10:30pmPay: $28-$32/hr base pay ($5/hour shift premium)Job DescriptionOur manufacturing team is seeking skilled and experienced CNC Machinists/Mill Setup professionals to join us. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce high-quality precision parts. Our production focuses on lot sizes ranging from 1 to 30 pieces, emphasizing precision and quality over high-volume production.Responsibilities
Set up and prepare CNC machines for operation, including loading and securing materials, tools, and fixtures.
Load and unload workpieces into the CNC machine using hoists, cranes, or other lifting equipment.
Perform precision measurements using micrometers, calipers, and other measuring instruments to ensure compliance with specifications.
Monitor and adjust machine settings, tool offsets, and workpiece positions to maintain quality standards and achieve desired results.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the machining process, such as tool wear, machine malfunctions, or dimensional deviations.
Conduct regular maintenance and cleaning of CNC machines to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Essential Skills
8+ years of CNC Machining experience
Experience with lathe and mill setup.
Ability to read basic G & M code programs and perform minor edits.
Proficiency in using micrometers, calipers, and other measuring instruments.
Experience with 3-6 axis CNC machines.
Ability to read blueprints and perform quality inspections on machined parts.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with aerospace, automotive, and commercial parts.
Experience with Fanuc controls
Experience with inspection and tooling processes.
Comfortability with G code and M code edits at the machine.
