Electronics Technician

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Electronics Technician in West Chester, Ohio. The role involves working on various technical tasks related to electronics, including soldering, programming, and testing ultrasound products. Responsibilities: Showcase excellent soldering skills while working on various electronic components Demonstrate a good understanding of analog, grounding, and digital logic Write and edit internal quality test procedures to ensure the accuracy of tests Diagnose and repair electronic boards and provide a detailed summary of the repair and maintenance actions taken Test ultrasound products using our Factory Acceptance Test Procedure and operate ultrasound imaging software with the electronics Exhibit excellent writing and computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Operate Oscilloscope, Multimeter, Function Generator, and Bench Power Supply effectively Read and occasionally create schematics and simple IO board type designs Repair PCB Boards, run annual calibration procedures on our Ultrasound Electronic Boards, and manage Parts Lists (BOM) and inventory Maintain an organized lab station and make occasional small cable harnesses.Skills needed include soldering, Arduino, oscilloscopes, test procedures, defining acceptance criteria, multimeter, and function generator.Requirements Proficiency in soldering is essential for this role Demonstrated experience with Arduino is required Familiarity with using oscilloscopes is needed Ability to conduct test procedures effectively Experience in defining acceptance criteria is a prerequisite Proficiency in the use of a multimeter is necessary Experience with function generator is required Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
