Description:
Will be responsible for troubleshooting circuit boards, DC Motors, Drive Packages, ABB Switches, replacing old drives w/ digital, troubleshooting PLC's. (Allen Bradley)
Troubleshooting 480V 3 Phase on industrial cranes, steel slitters, coating machines and conveyor lines
Responsible for all secondary equipment such as pneumatics, hydraulics, motors, conveyors, pumps, gears, gear boxes, barrings, cylinders - Regularly inspects and records condition of electrical equipment including cranes, motors, generators, control panels, switches and circuit panels.
Uses electrical test equipment, drawings, blueprints and schematics to install new equipment or diagnose problems with inoperative equipment.
Arc Flash Experience is needed as well.
Work with engineering, operations and quality control during emergency break downs to restore operation
Maintenance on forklifts; changing wheel, greasing parts, adjusting forks
Reading of blueprints, drawings and schematics
Could do machine installation or moving of machines around plant
Perfect Candidates:
Must have minimum of 3-years of Industrial Maintenance Experience.
Must be able to electrically troubleshooting industrial equipment.
Must be able to troubleshoot PLC's effectively. (Highly Preferred. If they are a skilled troubleshooter with Rectifiers, that could replace the PLC requirement)
Must be able to interpret blueprints and schematics
Must be open to working with heights, up to 25ft. Possibility of working on overhead cranes!
Must be able to provide own tools! Specialty tools will be provided.
