Description We are in search of a Payroll Administrator to join our client's team, located in Vandalia, Ohio, United States. This role primarily involves executing payroll procedures, AP/AR, managing accounting software systems, and maintaining precise records of payroll documentation. This position offers a long term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Oversee the processing of payroll transactions using accounting software systems. Manage and maintain accurate records relating to payroll and employee data. Ensure all payroll transactions are processed efficiently and that all employees are paid accurately and on time. Manage the processing of timecards, ensuring accurate recording of employees' work hours. Oversee the general ledger system, ensuring accurate financial reporting. Manage workers' compensation processes, adhering to OSHA regulations. Oversee the processing of bank deposits related to payroll. Assist with budgeting processes and the preparation of annual reports. Manage benefits payroll, ensuring all employee benefits are accurately recorded and processed. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting functions, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and best practices.Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Payroll Administrator or similar role Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems Demonstrable knowledge of Accounting Functions Experience in Benefits Payroll and Payroll systems Familiarity with General Ledger System Proven ability in managing Bank Deposits Experience in handling Time Cards Knowledge of OSHA regulations Experience in managing Workers Compensation Skills in Budgeting and preparing Annual Reports Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Strong organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure Attention to detail and high level of accuracy Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or relevant field preferred.
