What Sales Operations Management contributes to Cardinal HealthSales Operations Management is responsible for strategic oversight and leadership direction within the Sales Operations function.The Sr. Consultant , Salesforce Product Operations will be part of a diverse team that will lead or assist in the day-to-day work for defining the USMPD Sales & Marketing stakeholders needs. As the Product Business Owner of the CRM you will lead the efforts in building the processes, procedures, and accountability standards for the CRM while working with teams to enhance the product. In addition, this position is responsible for:

Defining, prioritizing, and developing high quality products and features that deliver demonstrable customer and business value across the group.

Becoming the subject matter expert on our CRM, providing support and training to department super users.

Ability to understand and resolve blockers and delivery risk quickly.

Comfort operating in a highly matrixed organization that relies on building support in other groups and the ability to influence through others, deliver results, and earn trust quickly of the organization and stakeholders.

Ability to work independently with minimal oversight, manage multiple deliverables simultaneously; take ownership of issue resolution and completion of deliverables.

Responsibilities

Facilitate requirements gathering meetings to gather user requirements, as well as other sprint meetings as meets the needs of the project.

Document and analyze business requirements for the Product Backlog.

Represent the needs of the customer by defining and prioritizing product requirements.

Works closely with developers to act as the voice of the customer and provide feedback about requirements and functionality.

Collaborates with development team during daily stand ups to discuss work in progress and remove any roadblocks.

Collaborates with cross-functional teams comprised of finance, contracting, sales, and marketing.

In-depth understanding of Agile project management and methods, technical understanding of Salesforce.com, industry standards and best practices.

Be the go-to expert for the software product—what’s happening now and what comes next.

Responsible for the Salesforce roadmap and defines the expectations of when to deliver the product

Responsible for the detailed user stories for new functionality prioritized for the development team

Coordinate with Salesforce admin team to design the functionality in SFDC

Work closely with the development team and PMO to produce product documentation including, but not limited to, specifications, validation protocols/reports, user guides, release notes, and internal/external training materials.

Regularly report project status to management.

Formalize processes related to development, testing, and deployment.

Ability to describe complex concepts with varying amounts of detail to different audiences.

Technical background / understanding of software development technologies and methodologies.

Support the field in answering questions. Provide key details to learning business partner for training materials related to functionality.

Qualifications

Bachelors in business or related field preferred

7 years' general business experience preferred

2+ years experience working with Salesforce preferred

Salesforce Administrator certification preferred

Working knowledge of JIRA preferred

Understanding of agile technology

Strong communication and presentation skills

Problem solving and analytical skills required
