You will also be maintaining the testing equipment and testing facilities. You will also have the responsibility to propose and manage the capital improvement projects.
The position is working onsite at our Troy OH facility

What You Will Do
Design, specification and procurement of fabricated test fixtures
Propose and manage capital improvement projects related to machine upgrades, new equipment, safety and facility related improvements
Provide engineering support for 3 shifts, 7 days a week Test Lab operations
Design, procure and support calibration processes and equipment
Work with maintenance personnel, data control techs and outside contractors as it applies to troubleshooting equipment issues, repairs, and upgrades
Maintain design configuration control of Test Lab machinery and equipment
Support capital project tracking and budgeting processes
Drive company Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives for CORE, quality improvements and cost reductions
Interface with Project Engineering as it relates to Test Lab activities
Perform other duties as required
What You Must Have
Requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and typically a minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
Minimum 1 year experience with hydraulics/pneumatics
Minimum 1 year experience with basic electrical principals
Experience with 3D modeling software

Experience with machinery design and maintenance, preferably large-scale dynamometers
Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, ACE or CORE
Experience working in a union environment
Experience with wheel and brake testing techniques
Experience with SAP, IVUE and Matlab

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
