Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CAD/CAM Programmer with expertise in precision 3D programming using Mastercam or Fusion 360. You will play a key role in creating, optimizing, and implementing CNC programs to produce high-precision components that meet tight tolerances (down to .001”). Key Responsibilities
Develop and optimize 3D CNC programs using Mastercam or Fusion 360 for complex parts.
Create tool paths and G-code for CNC mills and lathes, ensuring precision and efficiency.
Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models to meet exact specifications.
Collaborate with machinists and engineers to refine designs and improve production processes.
Perform program simulations and verify outputs to ensure quality and accuracy.
Troubleshoot and adjust programs to address machining challenges and maintain tolerances.
Maintain documentation of programs, setups, and tooling for future reference.
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum 2+ years of hands-on CAD/CAM programming experience with Mastercam or Fusion 360.
Skills:
Proficiency in 3D CNC programming and tool path optimization.
Strong understanding of G-code and CNC machining processes (mills and lathes).
Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and GD&T specifications.
Familiarity with precision machining and tight tolerances (.001” or better).
Experience with CAM software (Mastercam or Fusion 360 required; SolidWorks or GibbsCAM a plus).

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or CNC certification preferred.
