Description Robert Half has partnered with a rapidly growing, Toledo-based company as they seek a skilled and experienced Senior Payroll Manager who will be responsible for overseeing weekly payroll processing, scheduling, administering bonuses and benefits, handling payroll taxes, and resolving facility-level benefits/payroll issues. The successful candidate will serve as the point of contact for payroll-tax related inquiries and drive process improvements within the payroll department, in support of the business.Key Responsibilities:
Manage full-cycle, multi-state, and multi-country payroll on a weekly basis, ensuring complete regulatory compliance.
Collaborate with various departments for accurate calculation of overtime, bonuses, commissions, etc.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations concerning all plans.
Assist with regulatory filings such as non-discrimination tests, Form 5500s, ACA filings, and plan audits.
Register for state and local payroll tax jurisdictions as per company growth.
Handle W-2/government forms preparation and year-end reporting.
Serve as a dedicated point of contact for employees regarding payroll inquiries.
Assist in the development of the compensation program and yearly salary planning process.
Manage a payroll team to improve processes, conduct audits and ensure accuracy of work.

Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Minimum of 5 years of multi-state payroll administration
Experience supervising & leading a team
