Job DescriptionThe Role:Business Team Manager in a high paced environment. Responsible to lead the production team to meet or exceed scorecard metrics by using the GMS systems while fostering a culture of inclusion. Possess the ability to deal with complex problems. Lead and develop a very large group of salaried employees involved in multiple departments and processes.In this role, you will coach, train, develop and evaluate employees. You will provide assistance in analyzing and solving complex manufacturing problems with cross-functional departments and assist in obtaining resources to effectively perform operations in addition to the following:

Promote & Coach all levels on safety improvements & proactively seeking to preventative measures to reduce incidents, near misses & eliminate SIF exposure towards observing and correcting unsafe conditions and acts.

Meet or exceed all metrics in S, P, Q, R,C and E.

Lead through teaching GMS operating requirements and ensure requirements are deployed, understood and effective.

Coordinate daily/weekly/monthly production planning, support develop and follow up on attendance and overtime plans.

Utilize TIP process (Throughput improvement process) to manage bottle neck restrictions and continuous improvement action items.

Observe and support teams working to anticipate problems, identify systemic bottlenecks & develop countermeasures – analyze ANDON data.

Teach the Practical Problem Solving (PPS) methodology and ensure it is applied to SPQRCE issues.

Support the execution and improvement of PM activities. Provide coaching to GL & BM on importance of preventative maintenance.

Execute productivity plans and running at RTR.

Cost: Meet NSOT% targets and meeting forecast.

Administers divisional and Corporate policies.

Complies with the terms of local and national labor agreements.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience

At least 5 years of manufacturing experience

Must be able to work multiple shifts.
